The pump operations course is designed to provide the pump operator the information necessary to accurately and safely operate a fire pump, portable or apparatus. This course is eight hours and will be a combination of classroom and field exercise. Classroom topics include pump maintenance, operation and hydraulics. Field exercises cover basic pump operations, drafting operations, relay pumping, and other water supply activities.
