Customer Service Representative – Port Arthur, TX

Williams Fire & Hazard Control is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Port Arthur, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building customer relationships, and is committed to providing exceptional service.

Please note: This position is open to candidates already living in Southeast Texas. Relocation assistance is not available.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person

• Provide accurate product, service, and order information in a timely manner

• Support order entry, processing, and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction

• Coordinate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of customer needs

• Maintain customer records and update the CRM system with all relevant details

• Assist with scheduling service requests and managing customer documentation

• Handle customer concerns with professionalism, escalating issues as necessary

• Support general office administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus

• 2+ years of customer service or administrative support experience, preferably in an industrial or service-oriented environment

• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM or ERP experience is a plus

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude
